Michelle began her journey as an assistant Strength & Conditioning Coach at University of Tampa in 2010. Since then she has pursued her Masters in Exercise Kinesiology and continued training the general population as a CrossFit coach/mobility specialist, personal trainer, adjunct professor, and business owner of CrossFit Hyde Park and Result Cult Education LLC. Coach Michelle loves relaxing with her dog Brooke, being with family, and making CFHP members less breakable.

Alex was a former Division 1, NCAA qualifying swimmer for Auburn University. She found her passion for coaching and decided to pursue collegiate strength and conditioning. While she was getting her MS at Auburn University she worked as an Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach for Olympic Sports. She has now made the transition to general population and is loving it! CrossFit Hyde Park allows her to coach Olympic Lifting, among other things, to motivated individuals. Coach Alex enjoys being outdoors in the sun, getting coffee with her boyfriend, and snuggling her doggies.

Todd has been involved in athletics since he was very young starting with gymnastics. He knew he needed to pursue a career in his passion, so he got his first training cert. and continued acquiring certs. He played football 10+ years finishing his career playing semi-pro football out of Buffalo, New York. He now competes in powerlifting and prides himself on being able to do anything fitness and strength related at anytime!

Mike was inspired to become a coach after a 45lb weight loss. After nearly a decade in the industry, he’s become a specialist in hormone balance and nutrition. Mike is author of Balance Stress: How to Think, Move and Eat to Better Health and blogger for & We are very proud to have Mike as one of our own because of his renowned reputation as a holistic wellness and HRV (heart rate variability) expert. Coach Trent played football, basketball, and baseball throughout his life. Between 2011-2013, he underwent 4 knee surgeries from recurring injuries. It was his own injuries that sparked his interest in helping others stay out of pain and remain active and competitive! His mission in life is to positively influence everyone he works with and help people do what they love pain-free. In Trent’s free time he enjoys boating, relaxing on the beach, and hanging with his family and friends.

Emily began her journey as a fitness enthusiast at a very early age by participating in gymnastics, softball, volleyball and track & field. Her progressions and frequent injuries ignited a curiosity in understanding how and why the human body works the way it does. In high school she pursued an internship in the athletic trainers office where she discovered her passion for the human body and human movement. She worked as a physical therapy technician during college and decided to broaden the spectrum by working as a personal trainer. She now runs her own business with CFHP as her home base for her clients. In her free time, Emily likes to eat chocolate, play with her dog Kona, and make fun of her husband.

Coach Clay enjoys being outdoors, meeting people, and volunteering.

Kat previously played Division 1 water polo at Iona College in New York before moving down to Tampa, Florida, where she continues her education at the University of Tampa. Her CrossFit journey started in 2016 at Crossfit Hyde Park where she fell in love with the sport. She became a coach to help people become the best version of themselves. Kat also coaches CrossFit Kids and enjoys having the opportunity to help them achieve physical accomplishments that they never thought were possible. She is passionate about helping people of all ages grow physically and mentally stronger.

After graduating in May 2016, Jake wanted to begin living a healthier lifestyle. Throughout his two years, he had stints with the local fitness gym, HITT training and MMA Kick Boxing. While traveling for work, Jake stumbled on a Crossfit box, he’s never looked back since. Jake is originally from The Chicagoland area and now calls Tampa home. While he is isn’t at the box, Jake loves traveling, cooking, eating and going to sporting events.

Ryan is a former Division 1 swimmer for the University of Louisville and native or Raleigh, NC. Ryan found CrossFit after his college swimming days were over. The hard workouts, competitiveness and amazing community hooked him instantly. Through swimming and CrossFit, he found his passion for coaching and helping others, and has been coaching either or for the last 10 years. Ryan loves seeing athletes accomplish things they never thought possible and seeing their confidence immediately grow. If Coach Ryan is not at the gym, you can find him on a beach, outside being active, at a sporting event or on the couch watching Netflix or his Louisville Cardinals play.

Macho Barrios was born and raised in Tampa Florida. Playing sports his whole life he earned scholarships to play football at the collegiate level. Forgoing those he graduated from USF and joined the Fire Academy. After becoming a career firefighter he continued a path of helping people and opened one of the first Crossfit Box’s in the Tampa Bay area along with his partner. Macho has been training athletes for over 13 years and continues to enjoy helping his athletes achieve their goals. At the center of it all he enjoys spending time with his family, Monica and their two sons Julian and Andreo.

Karrah Nobel is a Tampa Bay area native with a lifelong love for health and fitness. She is a state champion gymnast and national champion competitive cheerleader. Getting her client’s results fuels her passion for health and helping individuals become the best version of themselves. At the gym, you can find her swinging on the bars, walking on her hands, working out with her fiancé Kyle or playing with her 2 year old pup, Nala.

Noel Hernandez

Noel was born in Havana Cuba where he started to learn the sport of Olympic Weightlifting at the age of 13. As he grew in the sport he was able to compete at the national and international level. Most notably he competed in the Elite World Cup in Greece in 1989 where he competed with some of the best in the world. He later became a coach for the Cuban team. He graduated from the University of Havana with a degree in Physical Culture. After moving to the US he received his certification as a Sports Performance coach through USA Weightlifting. Noel also competes at the age of 55 and has won every national level competition he has competed in since he started to compete again as a Masters athlete. With his 40+ years of Olympic Weightlifting experience he is a wealth of knowledge and enjoys sharing it all with his athletes.

Biatta took a Bikram class with a friend in 2010 and was instantly connected to the practice. Surprised by the strength of the mind body connection she started to share her experience with everyone. A couple years later, she desired more and started to explore Power, Vinyasa, and Yin Yoga. After only a few years of practice, she felt a pull to teach and offer this experience with others. Biatta’s teaching style ranges from a strong Vinyasa to a Gentle practice. She maintains a focus on breath work and incorporates music into many of her classes.

The annual CrossFit Games puts all your hard work to the test. Every week for 5 weeks, you have 4 days to complete a WOD and submit your score to CF Headquarters. If you are one of the top in the region, you move on to Southeastern Regional and have a chance at the Games!
